WELCOME TO THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR!
We are excited to welcome you all to the 2019-2020 school year. I will use this blog to communicate with you throughout the school year. (The teachers will use a separate blog that they will give you information about during the first weeks of school.) BACK TO SCHOOL PARK PLAYDATE Our back to school park playdate is this Sunday, August 25th from 1-4pm. The bubble man will be there at 2pm and ice cream truck at 3pm. We look forward to seeing you there. Please RSVP to the paperless post flyer you received in your email last week. Thank you. CLASSROOM ASSIGNMENTS Post cards with class placement will go out next week. If you have not received your post card before meet my teacher day, feel free to give us a call on Wednesday afternoon. (Postcards will be mailed out Monday after the teachers sign them.) The classes will also be posted on the front doors for Meet My Teacher Day. NEW PARENT ORIENTATION (ADULTS ONLY) New Parent Orientation is this Thursday, August 22nd from 7-8:30pm in the Social Hall. At this orientation we will discuss transitioning your children into school, school protocols and have time for meeting one another, our clergy, parent organization leaders and of course our teachers. If you cannot make it and would like the information discussed, please let me know. I look forward to seeing some of you there. MEET MY TEACHER DAY AND BRUNCH Meet My Teacher Day will give you and your children a chance to come into the classroom, meet the other families and allow the teachers to get to know your children before the first day of school. The teachers emphasis that day will be getting to know your children as there will be other times for them to sit down and talk with you. Please stop into the MPR for a nosh before or after your time in the classroom. 10:30-11:15- T/TH Twos and M-F Twos 11:30-12:15- MWF Twos, MWF Threes, M-F Threes and All Pre-K/TK children LET'S MAKE THIS YEAR FABULOUS! Bambi, our Jewish Resource Specialist, myself and the PTO (Parent/Teacher Organization) work hard to provide social and educational opportunities for all of you. The entire preschool is warmly invited and encouraged to attend. This month our theme will be Make New Friends and we will have musician Melita Silberstein joining us for our short service. Rabbi Lisa and I look forward to seeing you all there. As the weather has been gorgeous, we will have our La Corneta dinner on the playground.
