WELCOME TO OUR LAG B'OMER CELEBRATION!
When the children of Israel left Egypt, they spent the next 49 days wondering in the desert. On the 50th day, they received the Torah at
Mount Sinai. We count these days every year. It’s called the counting of the Omer. Lag B’Omer is a minor holiday we celebrate on the 33rd day of the counting of the Omer.
Lag ל ג literally means 33.
